Bella Poarch
Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her mother lived in areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old, when she was adopted. The family she adopted is by an Filipino adoptive mom and an white American military veteran. The woman claims she and her adopted brother suffered abuse from the time they were children before she joined the military. The family relocated to Texas when she was 13 because her father needed bypass surgery. They spent a few days living in San Francisco with her aunt. While the physical violence has subsided, she claims to have still suffered emotional abuse from her father at her home. When she was aged 18, she enlisted in the United States Navy. Poarch started her TikTok in April 2020, which quickly gained traction. She amassed more than 40 millions fans in less that 8 months. Her biggest success was her video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. The video that was zoomed in of her rhythmically jumping and lip-syncing to the melody went viral and it became one of the top TikTok videos of all time. Following her joining TikTok, she created an account on YouTube and a YouTube account as well as an Twitter account to increase her popularity. Her fame grew to a peak at the end of December in 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to write the content they wanted for their brand names.
