She was married to the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 to September 1962 and she was the mom of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered by actress Norma Shearer who signed her a contract be a part of MGM in the 1940s. Through the 1960s, Leigh starred in films that were popular, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and Living It Up.
